I loved reading this book. Lots of hilarious and loving moments. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a nice love story. It is refreshing to see that love can be found at any age. I loved that she was willing to give part of her to the kids and to the man who she was be-quested to by her grandmother. There were many “filler” situations we could have done without that did not add to the story but they did help the flow.
The only thing I did not like about this book was that half way through this book I had to recheck to see if this was a part of the Wild Man series or not. The way he speaks in this story is the same way the men spoke in the Wild Man series. I thought since this was different series it would have different characters, but alas that was not the case. Speaking of “alas,” I want to do a word count of how many times “alas” and “thus” were used. It got to a point where I was skipping sentences because that is all they started with. There are thousands of other words in the dictionary, use some variations of them.
