2014 Book Challenge

I started 2014 with a goal to read 100 books. I was at that goal midway through the year. I then changed it to 125, then 150 and finally I just changed it to 175 in October. I figured with the holidays coming up I would slow down. I still managed to get some reading time, thankfully. I ended 2014 having read 210 books! Far better than what I thought I would be able to accomplish.

There are some books, maybe 10,  I have reread which are not listed on here. I guess those will off set the novellas by H.M. Ward. Novella really should not count as books read but it was the only way I could keep track of which ones I had already read.

This is what I read in 2014. Have you read any of them? Some of these books were really amazing, Maybe Someday by Colleen Hoover, Tethered by LD Davis, and The Wife, The Maid, and the Mistress to name a few. Then there were the ones where I just wanted to pull my hair out. I won’t mention them.

I plan on being more diverse with my genres in 2015. After I finish Big Little Lies by Liane Moriarty, I am planning on reading A Good Marriage by Stephen King to start off the year with a good murder mystery.

  1. 175 books wow congrats. I made a goal of 100 books this year for myself and i have found a lot of people who don’t think i can hit this goal or that its too big( even though i read more than i do anything else). But its defiantly encouraging and inspiring to see someone not only meet their own 100 goal but exceed it.
