Wedding Night

Sophie Kinsella does not let me down! I have read so many of her books and I have yet to come across one in which I did not literally laugh out loud or feel really good after reading it. Her style of writing is easy and it flows so well. I love the women in the books because they seem like real life characters. Not all of them are tall, thin, and endowed with the perfect figure. They mess up and get hurt. It happens. The main message is that everything always works on in the end as long as you want it to.

I am glad I read this book. It took my half a day to read it, like I said it was so great I could not put it down. This is another writer who I hope keeps writing these brilliantly funny love tales for a very long time.

Summary:

Lottie is tired of long-term boyfriends who don’t want to commit to marriage. When her old boyfriend Ben reappears and reminds her of their pact to get married if they were both still single at thirty, she jumps at the chance. There will be no dates and no engagement—just a straight wedding march to the altar!  Next comes the honeymoon on the Greek island where they first met. But not everyone is thrilled with Lottie and Ben’s rushed marriage, and family and friends are determined to intervene…
